Feb 9th, the end of days. I will be 65 in a few days, and it hasn't been going too well. VERY depressed about this birthday. I don't know why, maybe the election of a known extreme leftist, almost, communist Barack Obama, who, I believe will lead this country down the road to socialism, and to the loss of many of our freedoms. Maybe it is because I feel the cold breath of death on the back of my neck, although I really don't fear death much. Oh well, its a wait and see time. I found some song lyrics from "Cats" that were deleted as too gloomy for the show. Here they are:

Well, next month, Medicare takes over and I'm not handling the 65 birthday very well. Starting to get depressed about age, the situation with this country and the state of the world. "Life sucks and then you die" :( |

Went to the doctor the other day. Complaining of neck pain getting worse. She had some xrays taken. SOOO, today, I see her and ask how the xrays came out. She said, and I quote " the radiologist said horrible horrible arthritis in neck" So now for some MRI's and see how bad things really are. Too bad they don't yet can do for me what they did to the six million dollar man; "we have the technology, we can make a new neck" (haha) Oh well, just give me drugs, lots and lots of drugs, better living thru modern chemistry. :) |

Elementary school = Where minds are given the chance to attain a state of bliss through repetition of nonsense and the extinction of individuality. I hated school after the 6th grade and just barely graduated high school. |

Bows and flows of angel hair, and ice cream castles in the air; and feather canyons everywhere, I've looked at clouds that way. But now they only block the sun, they rain and snow on everyone; so many things I would have done, but clouds got in my way. I've looked at clouds from both sides now, from up and down, and still somehow, it's clouds illusions I recall, I really don't know clouds at all. Judy Collins, Both Sides Now. |

Just watched the Shrek Christmas program. Not bad, couple of spots made me laugh. Not much pain today, thank God. Listened to the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto. Soloist is the late Yasha Heifetz, conductor is Fritz Reiner. I think this violin concerto has the best ending in classical music if it's done right. |

Very bad today. In pain all day. Even pain pills not working. A neck operation coming soon? Hope not. Not looking forward to that. Got to remove one or maybe 2 discs in cervical spine. MoodyFerret did another nice commission-a 3 way with my fursona Pawpal and 2 other cats, a serval and a lynx(bobcat type)should look good in color. Furaffinity down long time and Furvert sucks. Hope FA comes back. |

Trying to get over head cold. Very stuffy. Arthritis in right shoulder giving me hell. Going thru Capsazin like crazy, also Darvocet. I don't care what AARP says, getting old sucks. |

To the doctor today for drugs. Arthritis getting to me as well as cervical disc disease causing problems. Got some Darvocet, took 2, starting to feel better. Heard that DarkNatasha had an accident. Hope she is getting better. Sent a getwell card. Even tho you think your life sucks, there are always people worse off than you. I don't care what AARP says. Getting old sucks. |

This is my first posting. Just got back from Anthrocon06. It was a very good convention, esp the dealers/art show section. Got to meet a lot of my favorite artists, and bought a lot of pieces. Don't know if I'll go back next year. Traveling is getting to be a hassle. |
